Good Deed of the Month
Pet Care of Apopka’s manager Becky was out for a walk with a friend when she saw a sick and filthy puppy drag herself out of some nearby bushes and collapse right at her feet. Becky saw that the pup was dehydrated, starving, and nearly dead. She scooped her up, took her home, and administered fluids right away because the puppy was too weak to eat. Becky gave her three baths to remove the filth and grime that was caked on her fur, and took her to River Oaks for vaccines and de-worming. After a week of loving care, this poor little pup became a bright-eyed, cute-as-a-button friend who had no trouble finding a forever home for herself. Good deed, Becky!
